NASA is expected to make an announcement Thursday on the progress of its Kepler spacecraft, which has been staring at one patch of space for evidence of other worlds. Probably found more stuff for Muslims to be proud of.

I think the announcement could be that Kepler has found not one, but multiple rocky crust planets circling the 26 closest stars to the Sun with atmospheres very close to that of Earth's--meaning the presence of oxygen, nitrogen and water vapor. This dramatically increases the chance that life does exist on these planets.

This place is a shadow of what it once was.
Twenty-something posts and no one has asked if they've found Uranus.

Technically, it’s trinary, with a reasonably close (23 AU) double star, and a third star (Proxima Centauri) loosely, and possibly not permanently, orbiting those two at about 13,000 AU. Proxima Centauri is the closest other star to our Sun.

The space agency has scheduled an afternoon teleconference with reporters to announce the results from Kepler, which include the "discovery of an intriguing planetary system," NASA officials said Monday. "What we thought was Ceti Alpha 6 is really Ceti Alpha 5."

They have found space Mecca and NASA will need major funding to send all of the Muslims to this planet for their one way pilgrimage?

Fortunately Kepler was not focused on the Fannie Mae Nebula!
The houses may be nice but the atmosphere is noxious along with the mortgage rates!

Unless it’s something like an orbiting Death Star, it will be ho-hum as usual.
