SAD! Divorce is so selfish...both of them screwed this up. Yes he cheated, but why? Was she horrible? We don’t know. I think people who divorce are the most selfish people in the world.

He couldn't control his drive (er).

I think you should have to put up with a lot before you divorce, but Tiger pretty much satisfied my definition of “a lot”.

“I think people who divorce are the most selfish people in the world.”

So you rate Elin right up there with the likes of Madoff and a few other Wall Street types who selfishly took billions from the savings of so many? What is it that Elin did, exactly, to ‘screw this up’?

For someone who acknowledges they don’t know about their situation you sure are quick to judge.

I disagree with your thought process here. Just as some people were asking why nineteen Islamic terrorists flew airplanes into American buildings, you are looking for an excuse that would partially justify flings with a dozen or so women. No acceptable excuse exists for choosing to do wrong. Tiger had three good choices: (1) stay faithful in the situation he had, (2) ask Elin to travel to tournaments with him or otherwise change the situation so he is happy to stay faithful, or (3) get a divorce before jumping on the hooker of the day. Instead, he violated his vows and human decency. Even if Elin was tired from having his baby or otherwise neglecting him as he spent 90% of his time away from home, that does not in any way justify Tiger's actions.
