That led earlier this year to the tracking down in Austria of a farmer known only as Norbert H. who was found to be a cousin of the German dictator. Wow, way to keep his name anonymous. What, oh what, could the "H" stand for in a story about "Hitler"?
I don't know if it is "Norbert Hitler" or not, just struck me as funny that they would add the last initial when it is the same first letter as the person who is the focus of the article.

It could be that he had a Jewish ancestor. But the DNA may also reflect ancestry among the pre-Germanic, pre-Celtic, or pre-Indo-European inhabitants of Europe and North Africa, rather than Black Africans. You find a cluster of that haplogroup in the mountains of the Balkans among the Kosovars and other Albanians. Also in Sicily and Greece and in Iberia among the Cantabrians (though not the neighboring and better known Basques).
