The reason no one knows about the conservatives in the business is because nothing they do is covered by the media. No dinners, banquets, parties or charity events draw a single mention in any newspaper or local news show. If you want to hear crickets in Hollywood, organize a charity event for Israelis maimed and orphaned by Palestinian rockets. Not a camera or reporter for miles.
And though Caan is absolutely worshipped by all the stuntmen because of his hard drinking, womanizing and drug use, most people didn't expect him to be alive in 2010, much less political. Its interesting that all the really manly men in town are conservatives.
Don't get me started on Ed Harris. Dickwad.

That was simply an awesome rant.

Ha! I don’t remember writing a word of that...I just know of the empty space that used to be filled with the dimples of Ed Harris.

My thoughts exactly. Those are two excellent movies.
Duval is a conservative, as well, if I remember correctly.

Classic! The only quibble I have is with his reference to political science degrees. Many of those people are idiots too.... I got me one of them Poli Sci sheep skins...You're pretty much on target.

Duvall is a strong conservative.
He helped put together a movie for Bush' inauguration, I believe.

I hate that whispering crap too! I tried to watch Raging Bull twice and could not stand listening to Deniro mumbling. I decided it was ONE of the WORST movies I had ever tried to watch.

American Carol is the only movie I have seen in a theater for years now.

I loved both Burt Young and Bo Hopkins in that movie. Some funny dialogue.
