I don’t remember that. He definitely used a Blackberry. Like I said, his speeches are most likely written by the staff ( who have free time ). As a president of the United States, Republican or Democrat, you have things to do and those don’t include watching MTV and caring about who Snooki is. I also don’t think he bothered to ask who she was because he didn’t care and probably didn’t think it was going to be such an issue. However, it became an issue to E! and to Nicole because she believes that she is important enough to be recognized for her um...yeah nothing really to be honest.
Reminds me of when Algore went to Courtney Love and said he was a big fan of her music.
Courtney then asked Al to name one of her songs, and of course Al couldn’t.
It was some sort of question. He was making a point of how he didn’t understand today’s technology. I think it was on a plant tour, but that may not be so.
He said he didn’t even know how to use certain devices, and I think one was the ipod. But the point is, he had mentioned using it several times, and of course with today’s pajamas media it was caught.
Found it -Here it is, from a graduation speech:
“With iPods and iPads; and Xboxes and PlayStations - none of which I know how to work - information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” he said in the address, according to a transcript posted by KTKR.
Now previously he had given out an ipod playlist, uses a blackberry, and gave the queen! an ipod (idiotic in itself) with his speeches.
It’s small stuff, like Snooki, like the CNN comments at the bottom of an article pointed out. The point is, he is so used to lying about even small things in order to create a certain impression. I despise that. It’s deceptive.
