Yawn troll. The Chicago Tribune puts this on their Swamp blog in 2008.

The Swamp Blog:

Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii?

"Yes," said Hawaii Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo, in both email and telephone interviews with the Tribune. "That's what Dr. Fukino is saying."

"Yes" to what? The way the Chicago Swampy blog wrote this up at the time, Okubo could have been saying "Yes" to anything. No one quotes this BS blog but trolls.

It should have been written as so.

Janega's question: Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii?

Janice Okubo: Yes

It was deception by The Chicago Swamp blog in 2008 and it is still deception 2010, and as we see more deception pointed out below:

This is my email to Janega today - he has not replied yet..

You claim that Janice Okubo claimed that Dr Fukino was confirming that 0bama was born in Hawaii.

Okubo has previously made inappropriate and risible statements about the “authenticity” of the scanned image of 0bama’s COLB placed on Fightthesmears.com so when she puts words in Dr Fukino’s mouth that could put the Dr in legal jeopardy are you not just a little bit skeptical?

Perhaps you would comment on this exchange I had with the Dept of Health in Hawaii about your claims..

The Chicago tribune published the following on Nov 3rd:

“Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii?

“Yes,” said Hawaii Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo, in both email and telephone interviews with the Tribune. “That’s what Dr. Fukino is saying.”

Can you please confirm the accuracy of this statement?

Is Dr Fukino categorically stating that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii?

Thank you for your inquiry. Hawaii State law protects the birth records of all individuals born in our state under all circumstances. State law prohibits the Department of Health from disclosing any information about a Hawaii vital record unless the requestor has a direct and tangible interest in the record. This includes verification of vital records and all the information contained in a record. Direct and tangible interest is determined by HRS-338-18(b)

I doubt if James Janega ever responded to Wil H.

We now know that Ms Fukino and Okubo who represent the Hawaiian DoH are a deceptive lot.

Youtube vid: Hawaii Officials Lie For Obama

From the Swamp blog - "In the Tribune's political blog "The Swamp" last month, reporter Mark Silva produced a copy of Obama's birth certificate and addressed the birthplaces of both presidential candidates."

So Mark Silva produced Obama's Birth Certificate? He did did he? Hahaaa.... No one else has - not even the Hawaiian DoH or Barack Obama has "produced a copy of" a genuine Hawaiian Obama birth certificate. Mark Silva should show us this Obama birth certificate.

And again from the Swamp Blog - "In June, the Obama campaign released an electronic copy of the certificate bearing the seal of the State of Hawaii Department of Health and showing that Barack Hussein Obama II was born to mother Stanley Ann Dunham in Honolulu at 7:24 p.m. on Aug. 4, 1961.

Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt said last week that the document was authentic.

And now, so has the state of Hawaii."

So your silly Chicago Swampy blog said that the Obama COLB was genuine? Personally Obama keeps his distance from that forged Hawaiian COLB and lets his dumb underlings take on the questions.

That would put Gov. Lingle in legal jeopardy if she actually did get a friend in to view 0baMao's documents.

I’m not 100% sure but I think when Janice Okubo answered “yes”. She meant that the reply to the question asked was in the affirmative. (sarc)
I think the question “Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii” is a very direct and easy to understand question.”

I find it particularly easy to understand in light of Dr. Fukino’s own press release statement of July 29, 2009:
“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii...”

“If Tea Party groups are to maximize their influence on policy, they must now begin the difficult task of disassociating themselves from cranks and conspiracy nuts. This includes 9/11 deniers, ‘birthers’ who insist Barack Obama was not born in the U.S., and militia supporters espousing something vaguely close to armed rebellion.” Karl Rove, February 17, 2010, The Wall Street Journal Editorial Page
