New documents point to Indonesian citizenship

Mother dropped Obama from U.S. passport when being American dangerous

Documents released by the State Department in two separate Freedom of Information Act requests bolster evidence Barack Obama became a citizen of Indonesia when he moved to the Southeast Asian nation with his mother and stepfather in the late 1960s.

In a passport amendment submitted Aug. 13, 1968, Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, identified her son with an Indonesian surname and asked the State Department to drop him from her U.S. passport.

The transaction could have been part of an effort by Dunham to obtain Indonesian citizenship for her son. It took place before the State Department began requiring all citizens traveling abroad, regardless of age, to obtain their own passport.

Several court cases challenging Obama's presidential eligibility have argued he gave up his U.S. citizenship in Indonesia and used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan in the early 1980s. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship.

The amendment was submitted less than a year after Dunham joined her second husband, Lolo Soetoro, in Indonesia. It requested "Barack Obama II (Soebarkah)" be removed from her U.S. passport, No. 777788.

A letter from Lolo Soetoro to immigration officials in Hawaii pleading for an extension of his student visa, because anti-American sentiments in Indonesia could endanger his family, offers a possible reason for seeking Indonesian citizenship for Obama.

Meanwhile, an Indonesian school registration card that surfaced during the 2008 presidential campaign presents evidence Obama was an Indonesian citizen during his time in the country as a child.

And of course, you read one line and jump to conclusions. Oh well, I suppose that’s good exercise. BTW what are YOU doing about it?

Yup, the American public is fat and happy, and don’t seem to care as long as they have their bread and circuses.

Well, other than pounding the e-mail accounts of my senators and representative, forwarding every story I can find on the scandal to everyone whose e-mail address I know, writing letters to the local paper (only one of which has ever been posted, but what the hell), discussing the matter to anyone and everyone who will stand still for a few minutes, and making preparations for the eventual boiling over of our society, I guess I'm not doing much at all about it.

Good exercise? Maybe...it sure beats sitting around on my a** and doing nothing but bemoaning the fact that "nothing will ever be done about it". Gee, if only a few million other pi**ed-off Americans would do the same, maybe something would get done...

You mean like his not being a natural born citizen?

Yes.If he was once an Indonesian citizen that doesn't necessarily mean he lost whatever type of US citizenship he might have had at the time..."natural born" or another type.Numerous SCOTUS decisions over the last 40-50 years have made it difficult to "lose" ones US citizenship.

Again, you make assumptions without knowing anything. You don’t know if I indeed sit on my rear and do nothing, or if I’m doing the same things you are or even more. The fact that I think nothing will be done does not suggest what I am or am not doing.
You really should think a little more before you start assuming things about fellow FReepers with no evidence other than your own interpretation of something they post.
And, I still think it won’t matter if there is proof positive. He won’t be tried, and he won’t be kicked out of office. That’s my prediction.

I applaud your efforts and wish every conservative everywhere were doing the same. This, and voting, are truly the only ways to win.

"Even if this was proven, I dont’ think anything would be done about it."

Sorry, I must have been mislead by your defeatist attitude into thinking you're not doing anything. Silly me. Okay, what are you doing about it?

If it walks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, chances are it's ain't no goose. On one hand, you chastise me for assuming you're part of the "don't know, don't care, it's not an issue" chorus, then you turn around and spout more defeatism, like:

"And, I still think it won’t matter if there is proof positive. He won’t be tried, and he won’t be kicked out of office. That’s my prediction."

You want me to give you the benefit of the doubt that you might be a goose? Sorry, stop walking and talking like a duck and we can go from there.

If everyone stopped to consider that we could (in theory at least) get everything the Obammunist has signed overturned by proving he's ineligible to serve as president, then they might wake up and start working to expose the truth.

It becomes more and more critical with each passing day, with every new law he signs.

Democrats will say an Indonesian citizen can also be a natural born citizen.

Communists will say anything to keep Soebarkah in power.

Their boot is on our throats and they have no intention of taking it off.

Then we would have to assume I gave a flip about what you think. Face it, you popped off without knowing anything, which says something about you, and nothing about me. On the other hand, it would appear you are the sort of person who hates to be wrong, and so lashes out. I’m finished with this conversation.

"I’m finished with this conversation."

Oh, so you're not going to tell me what you're doing? Truth be told, I kinda figured you wouldn't...guess I'm right after all. Run away, then. Run back to your couch and do nothing. That's okay, we'll do the heavy lifting for you.

Well I can’t say I haven’t heard of “Agenda 21”, since I just did. It might be on their to do list, but I think the US will play a vital role in End Time Prophecy and I don’t see it being dismantled just yet... I do agree things will get worse... alot worse, before they get ultimately better.

I would not discard your idea about WWIII either.

It’s a great time on Earth to have faith in God, as I do believe there are not many so called “atheists” on sinking ships...

This is not about me. It’s about you reading things into posts that aren’t there, and then getting your panties in a wad about it. Stop attacking conservatives because the don’t see 100% eye to eye with you. It doesn’t get us anywhere. Do you really believe that even if we prove he was born in Kenya, or had was an Indonesian citizen, or anything of the sort anything will happen? THAT was the point I was making. I am not the enemy. Stop acting like I am.

Good Lord, you still don't get it. You're right...this isn't about you personally, it's about your defeatist attitude, and that of the entire "don't know, don't care, it's not an issue and you're making us look like kooks by pushing it" chorus. My point is that when you adopt an attitude of simply throwing your hands up in the air and saying nothing will change, you've given up the fight. While we all do it from time to time, this is way too important an issue to give up and do nothing.

And yes, I believe if it's proven that the Obammunist is not a natural-born citizen, there will be a groundswell to not only get him removed from office, but to rescind every piece of legislation, every EO, every Presidential Decision Directive and everything else to which he's attached his signature. If it's proven that he's ineligible and our so-called leaders do nothing about it, I believe there will be a rebellion from the grassroots the likes of which we haven't seen in 235 years.

But in order for action to happen, those of us who are aware of the problem have to get motivated, and pound our representatives' phones and e-mails. We have to not avoid the issue when talking with others (especially liberals and those who want to avoid the issue), and be ready to accept that most of them will think we're kooks, might not ever talk to use again, and will probably snicker and talk about us behind our backs. We need to write letters to the editorial pages of our local papers, even though most of them won't get printed at first, and those that do will be the targets of derision. We need to get involved at the local level and demand our city governments start pushing the issue. Just imagine if a hundred or so cities across the nation passed resolutions calling for the Obammunist to show us his birth certificate...the media couldn't help but take notice. They'd spin the story to the Commie Left, for sure, but they would at least be talking about it, and the American people would take notice. Action can and will get results. Inaction and a defeatist, dejected, Eyore-ish attitude will get nothing done, and ensure the gang rape of our Constitution continues.

Incidentally, when you asked me what I was doing about it, I told you. I then asked you (several posts ago) what you're doing, and you still haven't answered. That, when coupled with your defeatist attitude, leads me to the conclusion that you're part of the chorus. Prove me wrong. Tell me what you're doing, if you can.

But again, this isn't about you per se, it's about the attitude of a legion of so-called conservatives who apparently see nothing wrong with a Communist dictator changing our way of governance right before our eyes, when he's never even proved he's Constitutionally eligible to sit behind that desk. Either you, and they, see nothing wrong with this picture, or you do but you're too afraid of being labeled kooks by our enemies in the state run, dive-by media.

Or I could be wrong. You could prove me wrong by telling me what you're doing. Just like Obama can prove me wrong by just producing the damn authentic, original birth certificate.

If you feel like looking into it a little further and connecting those Agenda 21 dots to your own city and state, look into the Urban Land Institute. They train city and state officials on how to use tax dollars for urban transit projects, high-density housing, etc. While there's apparently no direct connection between the ULI and Agenda 21, both groups are pushing the same agenda.
