I think the country is doomed if the liberal media gets away with destroying conservatives like Sarah Palin. The only way to overcome that is if she succeeds.

The problem is your thinking couldn't be more ludicrous. Maybe one could argue the only time the country's survival has hinged on an individual is with George Washington or Abraham Lincoln. If we let them get away with destroying Palin and people LIKE her, that will discourage regular people from getting involved with politics. which is what we need.
