Run for office (or whatever it's called in a union).

Infiltrate.

Own the infrastructure.

Destroy it from the inside when the time is right.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.

The unions follow the tradition of rising through the chairs. So do the Democrats which is why you occasionally see totally corrupt, but elderly, new candidates for Congress in Chicago ~ it's "their turn".

It's very difficult to infiltrate and bust through that kind of structure without finding someone to walk into a central committee meeting wearing a suicide belt or something and just removing the whole local structure.

The alternative is to do the organizing yourself but that only works with "office workers".
