104 in Memphis today - 102 in Nashville and Charlotte. This is SERIOUS heat! Hope everybody’s AC is in good working condition! Looks like one of those ‘stay inside’ days.
I am sitting here in my little light weight robe and I’m so hot, I could catch on fire! I had hoped it would cool down after that little rain yesterday, but the weather is predicted hot, hot, hot for the next few days!
In Georgia where my brother lives, they get the temperatures like for instance, 105, and then they tell them it feels like 112. Do they call that the heat index? I’m not an expert on the weather language!
