Thank you, pam. She is nuts about animals. She can name every animal on earth from their pictures. She especially loves dogs. She watches Animal Planet and (get this) roots for the predators. When a Cheetah is chasing an antelope, she yells “get him, get him!” Such a sweet child. LOL.
She looks and sounds wonderful, Nan! You must be sooooo proud!!! How old is she? Perhaps next time she comes to see you, you could show her this video, which is not to far from where I live.

I went to the grocery store late and then as I was leaving the store, ran into a lady I knew and she and I stood outside the store and talked a good while. I really tried to get away as I knew I had these groceries to carry in and put away but she is a sweet person so I tried to be patient.
I’m worn out now! See ya later! Its almost 10 here and so early there!

It is probably best for me to try to go to Phx Sat but Friday is tolerable as is Sunday so even that is flexible for me.
No sweat on when you get back to me. I won’t be leaving until Thurs 0900 because of an important church meeting Wed evening. . . . Lord willin’ and the Creek don’t rise up.

Toby was extra ordinarily ornery yesterday!!!! Toby again is OUT of the running for Good Dog of week award.
4 things within 12 hours.
at 7. My half hour outing was 2.5 hours. Not a go crazy situation but again.. a well trained dog inside & at classes but in wild a free spirit
at 2. He pulled/barking at a dog walking by & broke a metal lead.. off he went. John helped me get him - the person/dog he pursued was the worst possible person
at 4. Returned library DVDs & got new ones. In library 10 minutes. Had dogs on leads attached to car. Came back & good girl Josy was there wagging tail, Toby's lead & collar were there but Toby - GONE..
enlisted a man & his sons to help me .. and they did.. Toby, is mr. social & ran right up to them when they called. another scare as the library is on a busy street. Toby ran into the woods behind the library (where I was parked)
at 6:30. Coming in for night & bringing in food dishes etc from our Mexican dinner. put dogs in house & had one more trip (20 feet) to get last arm full. Toby saw something "attractive" outside. Jumped against door latch & out he & Josy went in pursuit.
20 minutes later I had them
2 events in neighborhood with leash laws, nanny state mentality & one neighbor who calls the police if someone hiccups in front of her house -
not good fortunately the good Lord was protecting us,
but Toby, oh Toby..
