I had an albino friend in junior high, she was red haired with blue eyes. I remember that she had to be very careful about the sun.

We're all a part of the HUMAN RACE. Skin color is an environmental function. Been to Alaska and Greenalnd and seen the Eskimo in his natural environment.

A friend who is an anthropologist and well traveled says the same thing. He's been to the headwaters of the Amazon and while customs may vary from tribe to tribe skin color is not an issue.

He's traveled in Nepal chronicling various tribal customs because the king wanted to document his country's cultural history and in this case customs varied from the lowlands to the heights of the Himalaya mountain but skin color is not an issue.

Fascinating story. A genetic mutation of this type does not seem farfetched at all to me, because this had to have happened in the distant past, and often, in order for whites to exist at all—presuming that the earliest humans were black as ethnologists believe.
