Here in new jersey "DMV" stands for "Department of Motor Vehicles" and it's used as a synonym for long lines, arbitrary and confusing rules, and government red tape run amok.

So yeah, DMV works for me as a nickname for DC.

I wonder how much money it cost us when they decided to change the name to "New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission". There is NO REASON for it to have changed, everyone still calls it "The DMV".
