I just spoke to his Mom after posting this. They have removed 500ml of fluid, the Urologist says this should relieve the stress on the kidneys and liver. He’s producing urine, and that’s a good sign. My son, his best friend since cub Scouts is in Phase 3 of OSC and I can’t ( Don’t want to distract him)contact him. MY wife is in California visiting family. For the first time, in a long time, I was on my knees this morning All he ever wanted was to be a Marine Infantry Officer,( My son is also a 11A ) now that he made it, this is a rough row to hoe. I’m Glad FR is here, the cats don’t seem to be interested in my rants ...
Please keep us posted.
Have added this young man to not only my prayer lists, I have asked my personal Vets group to add this Marine to thier prayers.
May the Lord bless this Marine, his wife, family and protect this Nation.
We also pray the Lord sharpen the mind and knowledge of his doctor that all that can help is brought to bear.
Please and thank you for posting updates as you receieve them.
Lord hear our prayers for this young Marine. Reach into his body and remove those things which threaten it. Restore him to good health; to his family and friends. Thank you, Lord, for what you will do. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Where is he hospitalized?
You are not alone. Please keep us updated.
It sounds good that he’s producing urine. I knew a gal who was having congestive heart failure (fluid in the heart cavity, excuse my un-medical description), who fairly well bounced back to be healty and normal. She had been in her mid-20’s.
Thank your son for his service, as well. You might call out to his unit and discuss with his superiors to see if they think he should be told, since it seems to be very serious, and they are both Marines.
