“He even dropped his pistol in the dirt, kicked it around, loaded it and emptied the mag, no problem”

A testiment to JMB’s design and to the companies that manufacture it.......I have Baer’s, Springfield Armory, Colt. I’d love an Ed Brown tho my wallet dosen’t....lololol

Milpitas huh? An old fishing buddy lives there....I’m a bit east near the capitol...

With today’s manufacturing technologies, a pistol with fewer/simpler parts and way less complexity is possible. The glock style lockup lug was an ingenious improvement. So was the hi-power style barrel link and extended feed ramp. As was the sig210 inverted slide rails. imo, the 1911 grip safety was/is a travesty. There are better ways to achieve a drop safe handgun.

Somedays I wish I were further North or near Natoma.

Otherdays, just want to go fishing all over the Tornado Alley. Mostly, Northeastern Oklahoma.

I also have a Sringfield M1A. Bought it for the same reason.

Several video demo’s of dropping it in all kinds of crap, shake, shake, shake and then boom!

I swear I love that thing. My favorite rifle ever. I used to love shooting my Garand but this thing is just plain beautiful.

Takes anything and I mean anything. From Russian crap, Steel Casings, South Africa surplus. This thing just says “That was fun. Give me some more”.

Was concerned about the synthetic stock but the guy I bought it from offered a guarantee, if I wanted the one carved from a 2x4.

Just love it.

I’ll admit, it’s expensive but given my experience with it and it’s performance...

If you can get one, you will feel better about it in 30 days, when the pain from your credit card heals....

LOL
