I have a Para-Ordnance P12. There are some that claim they have trouble with jams. I never had a problem with mine. Any comments?
I have been considering putting a scope on it but love shooting from the iron sights.
I just love outshooting guys next to me, at the range, with scopes.
I have thought about a scope for those shots over 300yrds.
What is your config?
F&*()K!!! Don Perata. Little weasel and his twin Abel Moldanado.
Plicks!
What do you mean by black rifle?
I was told by the guys here in San Jose the one I was looking at was on the list of “approved” guns.
The ammo BS law has failed judicial scrutiny the other 3 places it was tried and this bill copied the language of those 3 to a T.
Still, we are stocked up anyway and when that comes that they do that..... Road Trip.
Idaho, Nevada and Utah are beautiful.
That's a Springfield Armory 4-14X56 Rangefinding model. They don't make them any more.
I did do some serious cosmetic work on the stock. I hand sanded the old milspec crap off of it and found really nice piece of Tiger Birch underneath. I hand rubbed 12 coats of tung oil into it and it sure came out pretty.
The fit is much tighter than it was in the original synthetic due to the bedding. The farthest I've really been able to work it out is at 600 yards. I could hit an 8 inch cast iron skillet every time. I'd love to see what it can do at 800, which is the limit on the scope.
Fulton Armory makes a really good modern mount, but they're darn pricey.
The nice thing about the mount system is that you can still use the iron sights without having to pull the scope off. If you really want to set that thing up to reach out and touch something, give it a try.
The only stoppages I've ever had were caused by my
hand loads,,,200gr. Speer HP,,,
It will feed the Federal 230gr. HP fine but I just use
hardball...
Now it feeds everything I put into it. I use that same bullet in my handrolls and haven't had any issues. So that's the load I stick with.
The only thing I've done to it other than the polish job was an Wilson slide release. Oh I did replace a worn out firing pin with one of those titanium jobs. Other than that it's pretty much stock.
I've got newer pistols, but that one's my favorite.

You understood the question. Thanks for the info.
Thing is that mount is $790 bucks!
Might just buy another rifle and looking through FA’s site, there are some interesting choices and I like their work on CMP’s.
I think what makes sense is to spend money on another rifle tricked out the way it should be and save time and money.
M25 WHITE FEATHER W/ M3A MCMILLAN STOCK,
KRIEGER BARREL, ADJ. TRIGGER
$5250. A little more than I intended but is has the Leupold Scope I currently use, on my Springfield 770, so I am familiar with it.
Has all the other goodies I want as well Adj. cheek and butt.
I won’t have to drill anything or play games with the bipod as it will come custom attached.
All in all I think that is the gun I want and I can reuse my current mags if need be.
1/2 MOA @ 100yrds? That’s great and I am sure I will love it.
I have an old S&W .44 (triple lock) SN below 9,000,,,
1913 Again,,,LOL,,,
A while back I did go buy me a new Model 88 Mossberg,,,
It holds 8-2 3/4 00 Buck,,,
About $40.00 worth of Flechettes if that ol’boogerman comes
around...;0)
Yes, nice little rascals to shoot!
Really? What do you use it for? Seems like a handgun would be more suitable for the territory this rifle seems to cover.
Just asking, I don’t know.
I picked up a dozen or so of them back when they were readily available and reasonably priced. I did a bit of testing on and old piece of IIA kevlar I had laying around. Those things go right through it.
Nasty little round that one.
I can make much tighter groupings at fifty and seventy-five yards with the carbine than I can with any of my three 9mm handguns. ... It might also be handy to have a carbine and handgun using the same ammo if and when de-zombiefication is in order. Aaaaand, the Hi-Point carbines are fun to shoot. When I take one out at the range, there are always two or three who want to know about it and end up wanting one after they shoot it. [Tech. is that the velocity of the round exiting a sixteen inch barrel is greater than with a four or five inch barrel ... hollow-points are more likely to do what they are designed for, spread out and make wound channels larger. That’s why I’m eager to try out the .45 carbine, when/if it ever gets on the market.

That’s something to consider.
Thank you.
Black rifle = AR style rifles..... Liberals fear them! Liberals demonize them. Liberals don’t want you to own them!
Perata is GONE....term limited out.... thank goodness!
Abel? How the heck is that weasil our Lt Gov? After turning over to the Dem side for the last budget fiasco, he should have been toast politically! Arnold to the rescue! Drats!
Have you looked at the similiar offering by Rock River? I like the more traditional AR look, but really don’t know which Bushmaster model you’re looking at. I see several dealers in your general area....Do you have a link to the one you are considering?
Lets face it the Libs in California are on a 24/7 assualt on the 2nd Amendment, and any incremental gun restriction they can get passed, they will. I’m very concerned that, if elected, Meg Whitman will enjoin the Dems efforts in this area....Jerry Brown, if elected, will most certaintly join the charge to defang the 2nd Amendment......We need to be very aware and pro active in this area regardless of who is elected Governor....God help us all!
Stock up? You bet! It is the only prudent thing for a reasonable man to do. After all, the 2nd Amendment is the ONLY guarantee of any/all of our other rights, and the only safegaurd against govermental tyranny.....
Probably acquire through Gunbroker.com.
Too difficult to get what you want from dealers around here.
