A year after President Barack Obama's political honeymoon ended, his job approval rating has dropped to a negative 44 - 48 percent, his worst net score ever, and American voters say by a narrow 39 - 36 percent margin that they would vote for an unnamed Republican rather than President Obama in 2012, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

Obama would lose to anybody the GOP runs.

You missed something in the article.

Read the ninth paragraph. There is only one Republican candidate that does even WORSE than Obama in the minds of a plurality of American voters:

"American voters like Obama more than Sarah Palin, giving him a 49 - 45 percent favorability, while she gets a negative 35 - 49 percent."

Republicans constitute only 27% of all American voters but 60% of all Republicans adore Sarah Palin. In short, only 17% of all American voters can make Sarah Palin the landslide winner of the Republican nomination.

Independent voters far outnumber Republicans and, whether we like it or not, the Independent voters decide who will sit in the Oval Office next term. Independent voter currently cannot stomach either Obama or Palin but, given the choice between Palin and Obama, they prefer to keep Obama in the Oval Office.

The nightmare scenario that makes me loose sleep at night is that the less than 17% of all American voters that adore Sarah Palin will make her the Republican nominee in 2012 and that the majority of the other 83% of American voters will then hold their nose and vote Obama back into in the White House for another four years.

This might be true in an honest voting environment. However, there will be voter fraud on a MASSIVE scale from the left in 2012 to insure that Zero wins under any circumstance.

It is VERY easy:

1.) STAY ON TOPIC
2.) DO NOT EQUIVOCATE ON ANY ISSUE… EVER
3.) NEVER back down
4.) NEVER lose sight of the basics
5.) NEVER forget who you are speaking for or to

How simple can this be?

If it is possible to house break a dog or to potty train a child.... why is it so unthinkable for politicians to follow simple and direct guidelines for success???

Favorability (likeability) does not imply likely vote percentages, especially in reference to Obama.

Your statement: Independent voter currently cannot stomach either Obama or Palin but, given the choice between Palin and Obama, they prefer to keep Obama in the Oval Office.
was not one of the questions in the poll, and does not follow from the poll results.

I predict Palin will win two thirds of independent votes. Until the polling frauds start differentiating between "moderates" and "independents", instead of using them deceptively as synonyms, my statement is more accurate than any polling statement with regard to Palin's vote percentage among independent voters.

This is Fantasy World.

This is the Real World:

This is what a Presidential nominee that starts out with a 47% "Unfavorable" rating looks like in a Presidential general election.
