If it is found that the electron has a permanent electric dipole moment (.i.e. larger than 10⁻⁴⁰ e·cm ) then the Standard Model has to be modified or replaced. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_electric_dipole_moment but a 90 % confidence level is not good enough
