Thanks for the reminder. An oath, sworn before God, is forever. Many of us, including myself, figured we had fulfilled our obligation when we took off the uniform. Your post reminds us that our duty is not yet done.
Lately, I have been preparing my wife and I for what seems a catastrophe. I figure I’ll have one hour to GTFOOD.
One thing I’m trying to find is evacution routes - avoiding ALL major roads, as they will be jammed with the mice. Anybody got hints, other DIY on Mapquest?
I don’t think there can be an evacuation from the major cities, especially if we are in a Martial Law situation. The outer belts are designed to close in large areas and provide rapid troop transport to the hot spots. The ideal location would be a couple of acres backed up to National wilderness area or park. but most of the country is too old or fat(or both :))to make a run for the wilderness and eat bugs.
Vehicular transportation will be scrutinized so anything that you are going to bug out with needs to be where you are going before you get there. The best plan is to be where you need to be ahead of time, especially if you are taking the family along.
