Is Pit Bull a specific breed or a general term?

It doesn't matter if pitt bull is in capital letters or not, everyone knows what it is. I am sure the dog didn't have registry papers with the AKC. That doesn't matter either, what matters is that these dogs have been bred for their fighting ability for a long long time. Dogs often attack children because they are down on their level and they don't view them the same way as they view an adult.

It’s a breed. Controversial subject that shouldn’t be IMO as the dogs are dangerous as Hell. There is no knowing when they are going to go off. It’s the not IF thing, it’s the WHEN thing with them. They are nuts.
