Aren't they the same?

Pretty much. There are almost as many food related shows on the Travel Channel as on the Food Network Channel. Travel seems to have taken a back seat.

The only show I've watched with any regularity is "Man vs. Food" for the laughs. But that's become boring and same ol'. And most of of those hosts on the Food Network Channel (Like Ray and Giadas) prepare meals with stuff I can only dream of out here in the boonies. Then there's Paula Deen, who became so giddy over Obama, I stopped watching forever. The guy, Guy, is another one I'll pass on, along with Alton Brown. Ugh.

I like Alton for the most part. His show is quite informative at the basic level.

He definetly doesn't try to be Julia Child.

Now that they lost Emeril, they're "trying" to make Bobby Flay the face of FN.

I about puked when they did the Iron Chef thing with an Iron Chef and "Super" Chef teams, and THEY JUST HAD to have the chef to the White Hut, with a special appearance from Sasquatch. Food Network is SOOOOoooooo leftist and elitist, they can't hide there bias. From Ina Garten, to the time they did The Next Food Network Star and it was OBVIOUS they were in the tank from the beginning for the 2 flamers to have a show.

By the way. WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE cut Sandra Lee off. She's had waaaaaayy too much to drink. And get her a bra that can hike the girls off her belly.
