“Day 71” and the oil spill was still gushing. The oil was threatening the Louisiana shoreline, and the federal response was still slow and bureaucratic.

I'd say it was more environmentally criminally obstructionist!

We have to work harder at educating, mobilizing and inspiring people to vote the right way in November 2010 and 2012

I was thinking, the reason the 912 project or 9/12 march on D.C was such a success (a million no matter what they say) was because they had the time to organize it.

If we start now, organizing some huge event in mid or late Oct., I think it would really motivate our voters. We could call the march "New Beginnings" or "Remember in November" or something to indicate kicking these losers out of office.

I just know that the marches, tea parties, etc. really make me feel connected and empowered, I think it would go a long way towards pumping up Republicans before the elections.

Heard Herman filling in for Hannity today on the satellite radio in the car. Wish he had a national show so we could hear him here in the Midwest all the time.

His segment on Thomas Jefferson coming back to modern times was great.
