16:20 - Boom Leading Peloton
The bunch is now being led by Lars Boom of the Rabobank team. He is followed by Matti Breschel... the Astana team is well represented at the front of the bunch that’s 5’35” behind the seven escapees. In between the two groups of riders is Sastre at 4’25”.

Something to watch on the climb in addition to the main andy-Alberto battle:

Samuel Sanchez crashed hard early in the stage, and while still in the lead group has been grimacing and struggling on the other climbs.

Rabobank senses weakness and is pacing the peleton to set Denis Menchov up for a podium finish if he can crack Sanchez (which looks likely).
