17:04 - Garmin & Cervelo Leading Peloton

The sprint teams are still in control of the peloton. There were moments when squads with GC riders were at the front - to keep the likes of Armstrong, Schleck(s) and Contador our of trouble - but now the likes of Garmin and Cervelo are setting the pace of the chase.

17:06 - 20km To Go

Pliuschin and Wynants have 20km to go. Katusha now has a reason not to contribute to the pace setting even though Robbie McEwen is a proven winner on the streets of Brussels (having won the Paris-Brussels one-day Classic four times). The leading pair is 55" ahead of the bunch.
