I also checked up on Footon-Servetto, one reason they have so many new-to-the-TdF riders is that they had to do a bit of house cleaning after some doping problems a few years ago. Footon-Servetto was not allowed to enter the TdF last year.
Ahh, makes sense that F-S were a wildcard at one point. I’d like to be able to righteously condemn a team that had to do housecleaning due to doping... but then I think there might be three teams left in the darned thing.
@leilani - I’m not pulling for Contador but I’m an Anybody-But-Armstrong girl ;) I respect and admire Lance for his abilities and accomplishments, and for what he’s done to elevate cycling and all that. But I think it’s past time for him to move on.
