Has Texas been getting more rain than usual?

We don’t get summer rain in the San Joaquin Valley. In fact we don’t get a lot of rain anytime. I enjoy rain and prefer the slow soaking rain to the downpours that we get occasionally. During the downpours all the water flows into the sewer system or floods the streets. :)
