Wow! It’s a good thing you’re not old, or I would worry about you.
Unfortunately, meds as well as age can befuddle the mind when it comes to heat and humidity, so older folks are often unaware of what is happening to them until its too late.
In the desert, if one lives here long enough, one learns when to come in as well as ALWAYS having water at hand. Some also carry umbrellas to help shield thier bodies until they can get into a place that has A/C. Thankfully, Nevada has some really good information for seniors and the disabled, and posts the information online, through the TV and radio, and even on billboards.
If I cant breathe, Ive been outside too long, and I look for someplace cool and dark.
And I always, ALWAYS have water with me, all year round!
