Evening, all. Just stopping by to say, Evening, all. Vlad was fine at his checkup. Most of the family went to the pool; I stayed home with Vlad and Frank, who had just had a bath.

Now I need to get Tom and Elen organized for their speech camp tomorrow.

You do realize that when you communicate in real time, you don't have time to double-check on Google, or polish your response, or to even think better of it and remain silent.

NnBob, as one who does some public speaking I know that; and that includes followup Q&A. But the rate of direct information exchange is MUCH higher verbally, as exemplified by my work email which is overflowing from back & forth emails that are burning folks' days up with discussions that shouldn't take more than an hour or two face-to-face.

I've seen committees burn out on e-mail overload, and I am looking at one headed for same. I hope.
