Ah. And I thought my choice of over-the-wing seats was actually my choice. I shall specify “aisle” in future.
Although, flying is not in my near future. The next planned flight is to AR in December, though it hasn’t been booked yet.
(My youngest grandson will be 14, and I promised him on his 12th birthday that I would be there again in two years. His birthday is Dec 2, so I try to be there in between Thanksgiving, his birthday and Christmas.)
For now, I’m saving what I can for the flight, and told my son not to expect me before “my payday!”
I fly too much, which is why seat selection means so much to me. I had to book my Lucerne flights because aisle seat availability was rapidly diminishing (and little factors such as “away from the sun” start to matter), and after dozens of dozens of flights cross-country the view from the window becomes old. And I really didn’t want to be in a middle seat.
