It’s in the house somewhere. I told him it’s his own fault, because I shouldn’t have to take it and hide it so he’ll get his schoolwork done!
How are you today?
Well, thank you. And you?
He’ll thank you for it one day. Probably not today or tomorrow, though. :)

I had to get the Hepatitis C vaccine twice, because the idiots at TRACEN forgot to put that I'd already had it into my record. At their clinic. I love the government. So I got it once at boot camp and once when I reported. I should be safe. [from Hepatitis C, if she decides to get a tattoo, which I am discouraging!)
Back underway again. 10 days this time. That's a third as long again as a trans-Atlantic voyage. We had 15-foot swells again last night. Also 30-knot winds, and rain. Rain *hurts* when it hits you in the eye at 30 knots. It was cold. The weather isn't any better today. I think it's supposed to be like this until Hawaii, supposing we don't have a hurricane or something. We had a hurricane in February. And a tsunami and a major winter storm from Alaska, all at once. Not much fun. Also we have a dentist aboard. [Dentists cause bad weather? Who knew?]
I forgot to buy ramen in Guam, so I have to eat the boat food. It's pretty bad. Also the evaporators broke, so we're going to be out of water in a day or so if they aren't fixed. On the other hand, if the weather is still bad on Sunday we won't have to do flight ops. Nobody wants to do them, because Sunday is supposed to be our one day off a week. Fingers crossed that it continues to rain sideways. And I'll wear my sunglasses to watch, so I don't put an eye out. I can put my leave chit in finally. I'll get to it later this week.
