Bloody marvelous!
"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson was literally born for his famed vampire role, according to genealogical researchers who traced his bloodlines to the real-life Dracula.
Pattinson's English roots connect him to famed Transylvania bloodsucker and 15th century ruler Vlad the Impaler, the researchers said.
But at least the face and voice of Robert Cullen is in good company, sharing bloodlines with Princes William and Harry.
Pattinson is a direct seventh-generation descendant of the Pickering family of York, England, according to Ancestry.com.
That line gave birth to England's late, beloved Queen Mother.
Her hubby, King George VI, was 16 generations removed from Vlad II Dracula -- father to the gruesome ruler Vlad the Impaler, or Dracula. That bloodthirsty tyrant inspired Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula."

Pushing a pickup away doesn't count. The wampire must pick up the pickup.
Superman would.
He’s a cutie. But it cracks me up that these girls are all in love with the brooding Edward Cullen. If they listened to his commentary on the Twilight DVD, they’d know he’s just a flaky little goofball who spent a lot of time saying “Dang, look how dark they made my eyebrows!!” His real personality seems to be more the Bill & Ted type.
Vlad the impaler might have been a tyrant, but he knew how the handle the muslim invaders.
Does he ever smile?
YEah but he got the girl. Superman doesn’t always get the girl....
Bit ironic that Vlad the Impaler was made into a vampire, considering he’s probably one of the biggest reasons why Romania is STILL Catholic and thus still HAS crosses and holy water from the Muslim hordes. If anything, that vampire defended crosses and holy water.
Twilight, it’s actor being a direct descendant of Dracula nonwithestanding, is a poor-man’s substitute of the Dracula mythos anyways. Better off going for the Castlevania franchise.
