Can over watering cause wimpy wimpy leaves on the ‘mater plants?

I water every night. By the time I get home at the end of the day the leaves on some of my plants are drooping in a bad way. They seem to perk up over night.

I have about 4 - 6 ‘maters growing on each plant, and some of the plants are “hierloom”s.

I’d be devasted if I lose them.
