Secretary of State Hillary Clinton removes the ambiguity and declares that the Justice Department will sue over the bill in an interview with an Ecuador media outlet:

I know. Parts of Arizona have been officially taken over by the Mexican mafia due to federal refusal to enforce federal law... and they want to sue a state for trying to protect itself?? We live in bizarro land.

President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy. And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act.

Did anybody really think they wouldn't sue?
There might actually be an upside in that Obama can no longer try to play both sides of the fence, he's firmly come down on the side of the illegal invaders. Second, if it works its way to the Supreme Court and the ruling goes our way, many other states will quickly jump on board.

Now is Hillary saying she would support the lawsuit, or just trying to point out what Obama will do, without necessarily supporting it herself.

Arizona should countersue. In the meantime, while lawyers battle in court, deputize willing AZ citizens to protect their state.

When did she switch roles with Eric Holder? I thought she was headed for the Defense Department...From the www.state.gov web site:
"The Secretary carries out the President's foreign policies through the State Department and the Foreign Service of the United States."
Clearly the Obama regime considers the government and people of Arizona to be foreigners, and is acting accordingly...
Even so, this is an uncharacteristically bold move on the part of Clinton and Obama - we hardly ever see that kind of clarity when they are dealing with America's other enemies, such as Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, and the like...
There is a serious reality inversion going on here...

Second, if it works its way to the Supreme Court and the ruling goes our way, many other states will quickly jump on board. There are 23 states with a direct initiative process. We need the AZ law on every ballot in every state we can. Screw the pols........ go around them.
