Has the author never been to a Wal-Mart/Family Dollar/Dollar General store or a Country & Western bar? I see tons (pun intended) of overweight & obese ladies pushing strollers and shopping carts with babies in them.

in the 70s and early 80s women at Country Western bars were hot ..not fat....at least in Texas.
