For those not familiar with the area, Lynnfield is one of the nicer suburbs north of Boston. The beautiful people. Her other car in the garage is an Infiniti G35, a nice complement to the Mercedes SUV... I wonder if Al Gore knows about her carbon footprint?
“I have nothing against handicapped people, heck, if it wasn’t for them, I’d never find a decent parking space.” - Gallagher
And not to be classist, but the majority of those I've witnessed are driving expensive cars- and most of the time its women.
The judge should slap a healthy fine on her and say “Mental handicaps don’t count.”
Janice Eberle
Here’s a bigger question...should any level of government REQUIRE that a private business has available parking for those with handicap stickers? As a business owner, I see the benefit to my business of allotting a few choice slots, but what if I didn’t care one way or the other?? ...magritte
Her husband is a lawyer busted for shoplifting?
If I had a dime for every time I saw a MB parked illegally in a handicapped spot...............
(Her husband's law license was recently suspended for four months over two shoplifting cases, according to an order from the Supreme Judicial Court in December).
Normally, filing such a complaint costs $275, plus an additional charge for sending notice to the opposing party. According to the case docket, Eberle filed a sealed affidavit saying she was unable to afford the filing fees, which were then waived by a judge.
The next-highest violation, parking at a hydrant, warrants a $25 ticket. Had Eberle parked in the fire lane in front of the store, the ticket would have been $15.
Hmmm??? Interesting???
Look at places like Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart....They've got 2 or 3 dozen parking bays for handicapped spaces for Gods sake...
What have we become? A country of people so screwed up, so lazy, that millions now demands to have parking close to the front door of the store?
How are they possibly able to shop?
It's become ridicules like everything else....
We were at a concert this weekend where they bragged about being ADA compliant even though it was at the end of an 8 mile gravel road in the middle of the Flint Hills.
