I worked for a HR Manager once and I'll never do it again. Must be in their blood to be psycho. I ended up quitting because this woman was completely insane. She needed to be put in a straight jacket.
Example:
1) She opened up my desk drawer and separated my small and large paperclips. I was so floored I just sat there speechless.
2) It drove her crazy because she didn't believe how old I was. I was 36 and she thought I was in my early 20s.
3) Her office looked like a tornado hit it. Biggest scatter-brain I ever met in my life. It literally became impossible for me to do my job.
I'd rather pick up dog poo for a living than work for her again.

Sounds like my last fem-nazi boss. She was a control freak and a closet man hater. I was never so glad to hand my notice in when I got another job elsewhere.
The HR type wasn’t much better. She liked to drink and party to the wee hours. Whenever she bothered to come to work in the morning, sometimes in a long coat, her office would be locked until she dressed and cleaned up.
