The other night, I went to a game at Dodger stadium for the first time in 15 years. The 12-4 victory by the Blue Crew over the Cardinals featured just about all the things that make the game exciting: three home runs, several stolen bases, a bunt single, at least one double play, and a wild pitch. The only thing missing was a rhubarb.

*High five*

I listened to that one via radio and really appreciated all the plays. The game I saw on Sunday had great elements also: good fielding, DeWitt sacrifice bunt, etc., as well as the big plays and dramatic 11th inning, 2-outs win.

Oh yeah, Monday was the night A.J. Ellis made the squeeze play, right?

Dodgers and Braves had a very mild rhubarb, I think it was Saturday, due to Martin’s slide into 2nd.

At one game in that series, Albert Pujols launched one into center field and hit a boy (about eight years old) square in the chest.

The kid seemed OK and got a bat for his pains.

Surprised me that he was not taken to hospital for a check up. Dad did not seem too concerned.
