Are you a qualified fingerprint ID expert?

I’m not, but my understanding is that latent and partial print analysis using computer pattern recognition software (similar to facial recognition software) can give a forensically valuable correlation probability of ID.

The old days when you had to have a certain number of subjective “points” to make an ID are giving away to automated analysis and ID.

The bottom line is that Lucas Smith’s prints are on file and if that latent/partial print on the CPGH BC matched any of his digits or those of any of his known associates on file, I believe that we would know about it already.
