The Saviour of Mankind
That planet had already developed some of the beginnings of life and the collision with the Earth/Moon mass "seeded" earth with some of its life forms.
In a nutshell Anu sent his son Enki to Earth to oversee the mining of gold. Later (about 3600 years later) as Niburu again approached Earth, Anu brings his first born son Enlil to Earth to oversee all operations.
Shortly thereafter the Annunaki working in the mines mutinied with the backing of Enki. After some deliberations with the Council of 12 gods (sound familiar?), it is decided that Enki can get help with mining by genetically manipulating an already emerging "ape man". What they make are the "black hairs" or Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
So, they basically turn their newest creation into slaves without the ability to procreate. Only the Annunaki "Mothers" (12 vessels) are able to make the humans. Later a god shares the knowledge of procreation with the humans and their number grow.
Further condensing the story the Annunaki (Neflim) begin to procreate with the daughters of Earth. In this era there is also a fairly significant Ice Age going on. This causes a global drought and suffering among people. During this time snow and ice are piling up on a massive scale in Antarctica. Under this cap is tremendous pressure that causes the lower levels to melt into a slush.
The gods are not happy with the humans nor with the Annunaki that take them as wives. They believe the humans are a lost cause, except for Enki. The Annunaki know that the home planet Niburu is approaching Earth again and that the gravitational pull will dislodge that ice cap from Antarctica, but are told not to tell the humans of the calamity about to befall the Earth. Enki manages to tell one righteous man (Noah) of the coming flood.
The ice cap slips off the continent into the ocean and the entire Earth is flooded and the only survivors are Noah and his crew. At first Enlil, et al are angry at Enki for saving mankind, but quickly change their minds as soon as Noah starts cooking some meat and making offerings.
Again briefly, there was a spaceport on Earth that was wiped out by the flood. The remaining Annunaki were unable to get back to Niburu, but did escape the flood in their "local" spacecraft. After they started to get hungry (running low on reserves) they returned to Earth.
Later they built the three main Giza Pyramids (way before there were any Pharaohs) to act as landing markers and control centers for their new spaceport in the Sinai. During a war between the gods the Pyramids were stripped of their instrumentation by Marduk/Ra (son on Enlil).
Some time later there was another war between the gods but this time with nukes. The new Sinai spaceport was destroyed along with Sodom and Gomorrah (among other cities in the area - 6 total). The story of Abraham in the Bible gives a brief but factually accurate account. An unintended effect of the nuke blasts were the destruction of the cities of Sumer (Babylon) by a radiation cloud.
This is a very brief version of the tale spun by Zecharia Sitchin in the first three of his books. I'm not totally accurate I'm sure, but you'll get the gist here. Oh, and one other thing: the time-line for the above is about 400K years.
The serpent convinced Eve to eat of the apple from the tree of knowledge. She gave the apple to Adam and convinced him to eat of it.
Then Adam 'saw' that Eve was naked, and that he was naked.
