Dude, poachers are SHOT in Africa!Poachers are shot in Africa because they are directly taking money out of the government's pocket. In case you dont' know it, most African nations GNP are hunting safaris, which the government taxes. So, a poacher is shot because he is trying to literally steal from the mafia, so to speak. On another thread it looks like French fishermen are taking a more active stance than the Japanese.
A GREENPEACE activist trying to free tuna from a commercial fishing net in the Mediterranean was harpooned through the leg by fishermen on a French boat, the environmental group said.
If the Japanese start playing by these rules things will get very interesting indeed.
