First, I thank you for and respect your service.
Second, I agree with 99% of the views you expressed.
Third, I am amazed how someone who seems so reasonable on so many things could make such an incredibly ignorant statement as the one you just posted.

I had a 2 year old niece pernmanently disfigured by a neighbors pit bull that “never did that before.”
