Saw a grizzly down the hill about 150 yards, stopped to look and a group of Japanese tourist stopped behind us. I warned them not to go down the hill but some of them did anyway. When they reached a distance about 50 yards from the grizzly he jumped up and turned over the log he was lying behind flipping it into the air and towards the Japanese tourists, they scattered and ran up hill faster than I thought possible. During the same trip a Japanese tourist was killed while trying to put his arm around a buffalo in order to get a photo. It turned on him and killed him.
Some people have no comprehension of wild animal versus tame.
