Check with the Small Business Administration. There are retired businessmen who can guide your first steps. Producing a business plan and finding funding are just two of the facilities that the SBA can provide.

Producing a business plan and finding funding are just two of the facilities that the SBA can provide.Called SBA recently. Part of their job is supposed to be to help small businesses get business with the government.
All they wanted to know was if I'm a member of a minority group. If not, they made it pretty clear they're not interested in helping.
