I have been to Sedona. The (cathedral) red rocks tall and powerful made it beautiful indeed. In a beautiful setting. One can almost believe the new age idea of it being a one of the vortex (special power center).

When I first moved here almost 20 years ago
Red Rock Crossing was open to the public.
I would go down to the water's edge,
And sit there, listen to the birds
And the sound of the water bubbling over the rocks.

Now, it is $5 just to get in to the park, and everything is concreted over.

I guess the Government thought they could improve on what God gave us.
