I peeked in last month's thread at the wonderful Memorial Day posts, and of course your Sunday post, Meg. Thanks for all of the tributes and remembrances of those who've served our country, and thank you for the nice compliments on our Monday's opening post and song. (tiapam, the song reminds me of Pat Tillman, too. It brings tears to my eyes every time I play it.)

I had every intention of being here today but after I posted the opening this morning, one of my sisters (from out of town) called and said she was here for the day and wanted to come by. We had such a great visit. Sometimes the unexpected ones are the best. :)

Hi Billie, its good to hear from you. Glad you had a nice day with your sister. I have a girlfriend (since 8th grade) who calls and drops in sometimes and we are almost as close as sisters. Guess where she came from in 8th grade? TEXAS! She lives about an hour and a half away from me and she may come to put flowers on her parent’s grave sites and she will call. I wouldn’t let just anyone drop in on me though...LOL!

But life gets busier and busier for all of us. Believe it or not, I ran down to Walgreen’s just now to get milk. I do not like to be out of milk at breakfast.
