I’m calling BS on this one. I drink Zero sugared drinks. No soda, no alcohol, only unsweetened Iced tea and coffee. Still have to take 3 antihypertensive medications daily.

This information has been out there for years...it just doesn't fit the “cholesterol/animal fat is deadly” paradigm so it doesn't get much coverage. Sugar also makes your plaque “stickier”, thus more likely to clog. As for me, it was enough to read that sugar acidifies your body and dries out your cells making your skin more wrinkly and I cut down big time!
Mary Enig, PhD in Lipid Chemistry, has some very interesting books.
