I still love how this show keeps me thinking...

Some people didn't like it because they need closure.

I (and I think you) don't need closure. (My favorite SciFi flick is '2001: A Space Odysey,' partially because it leaves the ending open for interpretation) I would have been more disappointed if the final show DID give all the answers. (It's Atlantis, It's Purgatory, It's an alien spaceship, etc).

I like the ending the more I think about it.

You are so right. Last night I kept thinking that there was something missing, that the end was a cop-out, you name it... really everything that those unhappy with the ending have stated.

But I’ve thought about it a lot today. More than I’d like to have done! Painfully few tv shows can do that, and now I’m definitely convinced of just how brilliant an ending it was.

We can turn things over in our minds and in conversations with friends indefinitely. So it will never leave us if we don’t want it to.

Looking forward to watching it all from Season 1 Episode 1, as weekend viewing with hubby. And hoping that we’ll have a different perspective now that we know how it ends (sorta).
