We had some big foot sighting around here a few years back one of the local bar owners was making a big deal of it. I think to round up business

They stopped when I spread the word that the next time one was seen I was going to put a pack of hounds on the trail and run it down.

The sightings stopped, a couple of months later I heard that a couple of the local teenagers had gotten a hold of a gorilla suit and would run out into the road way ect just in time to be seen.

They heard about the hounds and decided it was most likely best not to get treed so they stopped.
