We’ll see how they work, or if I have to quickly add a traditional cage along the way.

Mine worked fine last year. I alternated the twisty stakes with the real cages to save space and it was great.

Thanks for the encouragement on the twisty stakes. I bought them several months ago (the man in the garden store did a sales job on me) and I’ve been anxious to try them. THey don’t even have them any more and I don’t know anyone who has used them. At the time I bought them, they 6 ft. ones too for beans. Maybe next year. I have the 4 ft. size. Alternating with regular cages sounds like a plan too.
