She is so cute (turtle). I wouldn’t scream and run, if I encountered her in my flowerbed. I get a lot of toads here. I have no idea where they come from or where they go. When we had the pool they would get into the water and get sucked into the filter. That always sent me screaming. But, I don’t mind them in the flower bed. THey are so tiny when I first see them, and they grow so fast — from the size of a nickel to as big as my hand in a couple of weeks.
Watched a tortouse roll a tomatoe across the garden one day...Each time she took a bite it moved. Finally mad it to the fence, pinned it down and ate a good portion...Also caught one eating a strawberry.
